Ahoy! I'm letting these bobbins rest to set the twist and then we will ply. Onward!
This is from the Desert Spring fiber.
Uniform Studio's Simple Shoes of Malabrigo, the butter of yarns. These bad boys knit up FAST!
That kind of instant gratification demands another pair be cast on immediately. These in Blue Sky Alpaca Cotton. Left-overs from the Baby Bobbi excess of recent past.
From radishes to raspberries. There were about 4x this many but they were very quickly consumed by Z.

Pretty photos!
Those raspberries look delicious. And, to be honest, I'm 20 years old and I'm still crazy about puzzles!
I just made those Simple Shoes too. A great project for a last minute baby gift.
What magnificent spinning! Looking forward to seeing what it becomes.
Love the spinning and knitting...I "accidentally" put down a winter scarf I was knitting for myself some time ago...
oh my! i'm gone for a week and so much happens--raspberries, more bears, the most adorable booties ever, and...you've tried the kanten! i'm so so happy that you love the kanten, too! we tried to share with our NJ friends this week, and, alas, it was not a hit. so i'm glad the kanten has found a home in MN. yay for kantens!
and congrats on your *lovely* new spindle (is that the right term?)!! your yarn is looking beautiful and fluffy.
i just bought the most amazing yarn for a b-day sweater for Mr. Boot--peace fleece--and thought of you. check out their story on the website if you haven't already, you'll love it! sustainable, politically engaged, plus its affordable!
Radishes, raspberries, teddies... oh my!!! And look at that cutie in his striped pjs, love it. I love that necklace you posted about a few days ago too.
What a beautiful spinning wheel! (I have avoided that bug so far...[ducks])
