Faithful postings

Another bit of counsel is to keep things active here so...

A project interrupted by the allure of the japanese bags are these baby socks. The brother/sister sock will follow, hopefully, not too far behind. I've always enjoying knitting these from a classic sock pattern that I got at a shop on Cape Cod. One of my goals for the coming year is to branch out on the sock patterns. I'm completely happy with these but would like to learn more more more! Redbird Knits has a genius "sock of the month" club that would be so fun to join.

Or maybe a sock knit-a-long. Anyone done the sockapalooza thing?

Knitty also has some beautiful patterns to try. I might try Hedera. Anyone made any yet?

I really need to learn to knit (and crochet) one of these days. I've always felt knitting to be like driving stick-shift...too much coordination involved for me to be successful!

I've just had a message on my comments that you are only receiving comments from people on blogger not typepad? Have a look at my comments, linsey (plastic tupperware Queen) left the message, she tried to see your blog to wish you a welcome.

Welcome to blogland.

You've made a great start. I'm also a newbie and I learned a few things from the comments left here. Like, it never dawned on me to use a picture of me when I was actually cute!

I want to try my hand at the lunch bags and socks as well.

I came here via weirdbunny.
