You had me at "Baba Ghanoush".

Pardon the weeds. Some things just don't make it to the top of the hierarchy.

Curly Blue Kale.

Endive. Things are popping out all over.

And spinning. Two ply of the Desert Spring (70% Coopworth, 13% Mohair, and 17% silk) above and a single below. I'm surprised by the color difference! Simply from plying.

Purple double ply wool.

Double ply Coopworth in Blossom. All are a little itchy. Really hoping to get in on the next edition of Hello Yarn's fiber club. Monday.

So now, what to make of these? Ideas? I'm thinking small shawls and berets. But then I always think berets. Help!

Promises of knitting in the next post.

Vacation Pal here!

I LOVE the blue yarn the most, but all of that is so beautiful!

I just got two eggplant from our farm share and I'm hesitating what to do with them! I'm not a huge fan so I usually drown it in breadcrumbs and sauce. Should I give Baba another chance?

You garden looks lovely.

The spinning looks great, look at how fast you are getting so good at that!

The eggplant looks so yummy, it makes me think instantly of eggplant Parmesan, I need to start a few of those plants, any tips or hints on how you got yours to grow so big and healthy?

Oh...all the colors looks so wonderful together! I think you should knit something for the eggplant...OK, that may be taking it a bit far.

Come garden at my house, your plants look so healthy. I think the yarns are very pretty but I can't think of a thing to make!

Yum eggplant- Michaels mum makes a nice eggplant lasagne. Your spinning is lovely- you could use them all together to make something larger, maybe a pretty scarf for winter?

The deep purple yarn is beautiful! It would make a cute little One-Skein-Shrug (www.glampyre.com)or a cabled purse (http://knitpicks.com/Chunky+Cable+Purse_PD50441220.html)

By the way, I've started a KAL for the SweaterBabe Cables & Lace Kimono Wrap Cardigan (say that 10 times fast!) and noticed you had it on your to-do list. The cast on is Sept 1. http://www.knitsabeautifullife.com/kal
