The fiber (which I neglected to photograph) seemed so "beasty", in a good way, that I wanted to spin it bulky to capitalize on it's "animalness",

Not sure what to do with 63 yards of bulky - 7 wpi. Maybe a blanket for Z's puppy to accessorize with his little raglan?


Charged Hammie's scratcher up with some fresh catnip. He's feeling fine.

Got another 4 inches of snow on Monday night. With Easter this weekend I think the kids are bound for an indoor egg hunt.

At least we'll have the ham to console us.

Ahhh... That's much better.

Vacation trip was fantastic. Beach, pool, naps, the city bus (man, they really tear-ass around) and good family time.

Very little knitting completed. The best of intentions.

Raglans, Butter, Bees and Love

Almost done with Z's custom calculated top down raglan.

Would have met the birthday deadline 'cept the boy's got a giant noggin.
Need to rip the collar and reknit more loosely.

Did manage a top-down raglan fopr Puppy out of leftover Frosted Forest handspun. Super cute, huh? :-) His head's a little squishier than Z's so a little ear smashing as it goes on isn't a bother.

Look at him - he's not really bothered by much.


Z's quite pleased. His Tia made Puppy some jeans too. Next stop - pajamas. I'm hoping for a bunny suit. That may be a great idea for someone's Easter basket.

Was meant to celebrate the new bees in my bonnet. Looks more like a head basket.
